Jazz singer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born February 20 1937 in Chillicothe Ohio to iron-worker Olden Wilson and the former Lillian Ryan who worked as a domestic servant. Adderley's Agent heard her at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she then signed her contract. within a month after arriving in New York City.
