Nancy Wilson, a jazz performer and a three-time Grammy Award winner was born in Ohio, Chillicothe 20 February 1937, to Olden Wilson an ironworker who had been employed for a considerable time as a housekeeper. Nancy is the youngest of six siblings. Nancy was a child who listened to records from her father as well as his enthusiasm for music. As young as four years old, she knew she'd be a singing star. In 1959 she moved to The Big Town. Her agent heard her speak at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she then signed her contract.
